About the Department

The Education Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network is responsible for training in Network standards and for the certification of individuals and organisations against those standards. It runs the training programmes, sets and marks the examinations, and keeps the registers of certified persons and organisations.

The Department was established on 6 September 2026. On the same day it published its syllabus, its first examination timetable and the arrangements under which certification issued by member organisations before that date is recognised until 30 June 2027.
